Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane landed in accordance with established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson said in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This occurrence is not the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet transporting a top government figure has encountered equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to turn back to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical fault.
